DESIGN FEATURES: Easily paintable any color of paint, proprietary coating greatly increases corrosion resistance. Provides an easy to install and long-lasting method of stopping water penetration at horizontal seams of vertical siding.  Will not react with fiber cement

It is necessary to use a good house wrap such as Dupont® Tyvek® or similar weather resistant barrier behind the siding/Z Bar to provide total protection against water and moisture intrusion.

INSTALLATION SUGGESTIONS: Install lower level of vertical siding. Install Zeam® Z Bar with 1/2" lip visible, facing downward on outside as illustrated. Stack upper lever of siding panel directly on top of lower level of siding panel and Zeam® Z Bar; nail panels into place according to siding manufacturer's instructions. Allow 1/8" gap between panels
