DESIGN FEATURES: Coated H-Mold originated and market-proven by Tamlyn to allow usage in soffits and on sidewalls, accepts any paint of any color, vinyl coating eliminates any reaction with fiber cement. Cutting product and exposing edge of uncoated product. Paint it black, navy blue, fire engine red, no problems.
It is necessary to use a good house wrap such as Dupont® Tyvek® or similar weather resistant barrier behind the siding/H Mold to provide total protection against water and moisture intrusion.
Covers uneven soffit material cuts, making seam much cleaner looking
Allows for expansion/contraction of soffit material and continuous vents and eliminates gaps where pests can enter the attic
Designed to work as a system with Tamlyn vinyl continuous soffit vents (system use patent protected). Covers the end seams of the soffit material and continuous vents, providing a more appealing appearance than simply butting the vents end to end
Xtreme Trim™ H-mold will not warp, deteriorate or disappear over time as a wood joint or caulk will. Makes seam virtually invisible
